Sub-processors

Last updated: October 26, 2026

1. What a sub-processor is

A sub-processor is a third-party service provider that Syzygia engages to provide the Services and that may process personal data on behalf of our customers. Syzygia engages them under written contracts with data protection terms equivalent to those of our Data Processing Addendum (DPA), and remains responsible for them. See our Privacy Policy for how we process personal data as a controller.

We use sub-processors in these categories:

  • Cloud hosting provider (servers in the United States).
  • AI model providers: they process prompts and context to return a response and do not use them to train models.
  • Payment processor.
  • Email provider.
  • Customer support and communications tools.
  • Messaging channel providers (for example WhatsApp, where the customer chooses that channel).
  • Web search provider, for the web searches agents carry out while working on a task.
  • Analytics provider on our website (Google Analytics, only with consent).

Services a customer connects with its own accounts (for example its Google or Microsoft account) are chosen and contracted by the customer and are not Syzygia sub-processors.

2. The current list, on request

The current list of sub-processors, with each one's name, purpose and location, is available to customers and to prospective customers evaluating Syzygia on request at info@syzygia.io. Transfers outside the EEA rely on the safeguards described in the DPA.

3. How changes are notified

As set out in clause 5 of the DPA, Syzygia notifies any addition or replacement of a sub-processor, or any change that extends the data it receives or its location, at least 30 days in advance, by email to the customer's administrators and to anyone subscribed to change notices. Customers may object in writing, on reasonable data protection grounds, within that period. The parties will look in good faith for an alternative; if there is none, the customer may terminate the affected services without penalty and with a refund of amounts paid in advance and not used. If a sub-processor has to be replaced urgently, notice is given as soon as possible and the right to object is kept.

4. Subscribe to change notices

Email info@syzygia.io with the subject "Subscribe to sub-processor updates". You can unsubscribe the same way.
