Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Syzygia uses cookies and similar technologies on our website syzygia.io. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. This policy covers syzygia.io. The Syzygia platform (the Hub) uses only strictly necessary cookies — your sign-in session and short-lived security cookies while you sign in — and, when you buy credits, our payment processor sets its own fraud-prevention cookies.
Nothing optional runs until you accept it. We do not use advertising or social media cookies.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device. Local storage is data your browser keeps for a website and does not send to it with each request. In this policy "cookies" covers both.
2. Cookies and storage we use
| Name | Type / set by | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| szg-consent | Local storage · syzygia.io | Remembers your cookie choice (analytics accepted or rejected), the version of this policy you saw and when you chose | Strictly necessary | Until you clear your browser data; we ask again after 12 months or when this policy version changes |
| szg-lang | Local storage · syzygia.io | Remembers the language you chose | Strictly necessary | Until you clear your browser data |
| szg-theme | Local storage · syzygia.io | Remembers light or dark mode | Strictly necessary | Until you clear your browser data |
| _ga | Cookie · Google Analytics (third party) | Distinguishes visitors | Analytics — only with consent | Up to 2 years |
| _ga_Z61RNWLDM5 | Cookie · Google Analytics (third party) | Keeps the state of your visit | Analytics — only with consent | Up to 2 years |
The strictly necessary items stay in your browser and are never sent to us. Google Analytics is provided by Google; we use it with IP anonymization and with Google signals and ad personalization turned off. See the Google Privacy Policy.
3. Consent
On your first visit we show a banner where you can Reject all, Accept all or Customize; rejecting is as easy as accepting. Analytics stays off until you switch it on. The legal basis for analytics cookies is your consent; strictly necessary storage does not require consent.
4. Changing your mind
Click "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page (or here) to change your choice at any time. Withdrawing consent stops Google Analytics and deletes its cookies from your browser. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
5. Changes and contact
If we add or change an optional cookie, we will update this policy and ask for your consent again. Questions: info@syzygia.io. More about how we handle personal data: Privacy Policy.
