Syzygia vs Muse

Muse is Meta’s personal AI agent, introduced in September 2026: you give it tasks and it does the work across the services you connect, on its own secure computer in Meta’s cloud, checking with you before sensitive actions such as sending an email or making a purchase. It is rolling out in the US on iOS, Android and muse.ai, and also works in WhatsApp. Syzygia is the Agentic Operating System (Agentic OS) for companies: role-based agents work in departments under a CEO agent. Muse is built for individuals; Syzygia for companies that want their recurring departmental work handled.

How it’s organized

Who does the work, and how it’s organized

Syzygia: a staffed department

Syzzy, your CEO agent, coordinates specialists in each department. They work on schedules, delegate to each other and ask before anything important.

Personal tasks · asks before sensitive actions

Muse: a personal agent on your phone

You give it a task in the app or in WhatsApp; it does the steps on its own secure computer and checks with you before sensitive actions.

Inside Syzygia

What the work looks like in Syzygia

Not a blank chat and not a flowchart: agents with a role, a schedule and a person approving what matters.

Ask, then approve

Ask Syzzy in plain language. Agents prepare the work and wait for your go-ahead: on every action in Ask mode, and always on payments.

Briefs on WhatsApp and email

Scheduled tasks run on their own — like a daily “bills due” report at 08:00 — and land where you already are.

The cost of every execution

Each execution shows the credits it used, and the agent’s tier caps what a single execution can spend.

Which one, for which job

Both are good tools. They are built for different jobs.

Pick Muse if…

  • You want an agent for your own everyday tasks, on your phone.
  • You already spend your day in WhatsApp and Meta’s apps.
  • You want to start free and pay only if you need more.

Pick Syzygia if…

  • The work belongs to departments — finance, sales, marketing, operations — not to one person.
  • You want specialists that keep business records: a ledger, payables, a CRM.
  • You work outside the US, or in Spanish or Portuguese as well as English.
Running both? A personal agent for your own errands and a company workforce for departmental work can sit side by side.

Questions we hear

Which teams get more out of Syzygia than out of Muse?

When the work belongs to a company rather than one person: departments with specialists, recurring reports, approvals on payments (and on publishing, if you turn them on), and several people sharing the same agents.

Is Muse ever the better pick?

When you want a personal agent for your own everyday tasks, you live in WhatsApp and Meta’s apps, and you are in the US, where it launched first.

What does each one cost?

Muse is free with a usage limit, and Meta is testing Power ($20 a month) and Maximum ($100 a month) subscriptions. Syzygia has two monthly plans with Syzygia Credits included — Personal $99 and Ramp-up $400 — and a Custom plan for larger teams; each execution is capped by the agent’s tier.

Do they work side by side?

Yes. A personal agent for your own errands and a company workforce for departmental work can sit side by side.

How do approvals work in Syzygia?

Each conversation runs in Ask or Auto mode; in Ask mode the agent waits for your OK before every action. Payments always wait for a person to approve them in the Hub, and publishing can too: each publishing agent has an “Approval before publishing” setting. Every execution is logged with the credits it used.
